While using the Vaio desktop I got a message saying that the keyboard battery level was critical. I changed the batteries and whilst doing this the computer re-booted so I guess I must have pressed some keys at the same time.
Now the keyboard will not work at all. Have I caused an overload or a fuse to go? I have tried re-booting the desktop, then pressing the ┬┤connect┬┤button on the desktop and the keyborad but it will not work. the wireless mouse still functions ok though. Any ideas please?

Try uninstalling any software related to the keyboard, reboot the system. and re-install the software.
