I have a Sony DVD RW DW-Q28A Drive and im about to write my first DVD-RW. Then, im about to burn but it says that the maximum speed is 2x. Is it suppose to be 6x or at least 4x?? Im using Power2Go from Cyberlink.

Thank you

Can depend on the media. Some media won't support the higher speeds.

What media are you using?

A quick Google reveals some less than favourable reviews.

Probably better to get some Sony or other reputable brand.

Looks like the discs you brought will only write at a speed of 2x only. If you want to write at a faster speed you'll need to buy discs that can support writing at a faster rate.
