Something to edit pdf documents

  Trikie 12:00 17 May 07

I use free software Cutepdf to convert documents to pdf as I have Works and when I send them to Word users they can't open them.

Is there anything similar, i.e. free, that will enable me to make alterations to the pdf documents?

be able toopen them in "Word"... they'lll need to open them with a pdf reader.

"Acrobat Reader" is the de facto tool to do this with, but there are others such as "Foxit"..

Thanks all,

I should have explained more clearly that I would like to be able to edit pdf documents that I have created. I usually do this by going back to the original WP document, altering that and then creating a new pdf.

The reason for my enquiry is that I have created a pdf from a database and have the information in various columns. I would like to be able to add headings and notes to these in pdf version.

I think Word can open Works documents. I've just looked and can open .wps files.

An alternative would be to use OpenOffice instead. Free download click here You can save files you create as Word files and PDF's. Save you a lot of messing about.
