I've always sworn by Irfanview, does everything I want for viewing & minor adjustments, for anything Irfanview can't handle I fire up Paint Shop Pro.

Having said that I'm going to give this image viewer a go.

Yes, I've used Irfanview (it even has an MP3 player) for many years along with PixResizer, Picassa2 and one or two others, but it's always fascinating to find out just how many other excellent utilities there are around.
