I dont know the type of problems you are having but since I put Norton System Works 2003 on my previously fairly troublesom system I've had nothing but a smooth ride. Expensive - but it seems to work. I don't know if there are any comparible products that may impact one's wallet less?

Norton System Works 2003 expensive? It may have been when it first came out, but its now going on Ebay at £12 a kick.

Fair Comment. Still if you go to dabs it'll set you back £50 or something

solving pc problems. That's here on the PCA Forum. Costs nothing except your time checking the responses, and, I might add letting everyone know when it is resolved.

you can "repair" your system without the need for expensive software.use windows built in defrag cleanup and chkdsk tools and a few free dowloads.
