Hi Guys,

Need a very quick answer to this one, we have a NAS server running an IDE Raid 5 setup. One of the hard drives has gone belly up and we are being sent a new one, the only problem is that our whole network is downa nd no one can access their data. The replacement hard drive is expected early next week, which is a bit late for us.

The current raid setup is 4 x 100GB Maxtor hard drives, I need to know if I can install a 120GB Maxtor hard drive instead of an 100GB one?

Does anyone know if this is okay???

Thanks

Guys, Installed 120GB hard drive, ran the raid utility and it just made the extra 20GB rudundant, so all sorted now.
