Winzip evaluation copy is free. I think. It compresses the file(s) if possible, and then uses multiple disks if they are still too big for one floppy.

Apparently Windows has its own high density format, which will push the capacity of a floppy disk up to 2.5MB. I have no idea how to use it though.

All I know was that it was used to supply Windows on floppy disks.
