Smartripper won't recognise destination

Following recommendation from a friend, I'm trying out Smartripper DVD copier.

I'm trying out one DVD at the moment (don't want to mess anything up) which plays successfully and does all it should. And I know my DVD burner is working OK coz I've just tested it out using Nero.

When I set Smartripper up to try and copy a DVD, it just will not recognise that there is a DVD in the DVD-RW drive. I can rip to my hard drive OK. But every time I try to rip to the DVD-RW, it says there is 0Mb available.

The lack of help file doesn't help much either.

Any ideas, please?

I found an instruction page on another site.

It won't do burning!

Bye-bye smartripper!
