on start up of my machine it says all disks ok then smart drive disabled.
what is smart drive and is it worth enabling it?

SMART - it is the ability of many hdds to analyse themselves and give early warning of problems. Can be useful to enable, but don't rely 100% on it - do the usual routines to keep the disk healthy.
