hi, hope msomeone can help me,i have a 128mb smart media card, and when i try to tranfer files from my pc to the card, a message comes up saying the card is write-protected, there is no sticker on the card so how can i un protect it

How are you trying to transfer the files and what are you using to "see" the Smart Media Card?

Are you using any software to transfer your files?
Or are you just copying using windows explorer?

Im not in front of MY PC at the mo, so this is going of the top of my head......

If you right click on the smart media drive (mines F for example) there should be an option for protect/write protect, if this is selected, click on it again.

Hopefully thats it.
