Slow Eratic Shut with WinME using Asus A7S333

The Spec:- Asus A7S333 M/board with Sis 745 Chipset, AMD Athlon XP2000 CPU, 256MB PC2100 DDR,
ATI Radeon 7500 64MB AGP x4 card, Onboard audio,
Int PCI Intel chipset Modem V90/56K, NAV 2003, 40GB IBM 7,200 2MB Cache HDD ATA100,
Volume, NAV & CMI Audio icon in Sys Tray.

Problem the computer it struggles/hangs on Shut Down for nearly a minute. Also I notice if I open Norton AV2003 all the things refresh to catch up with system.

The only thing I didn't install was the HydraVision for the ATI AGP Card and just the ATI Drivers & Control panel. I didn't install Hydravision as I understand its for Twin displays.

Tried disabling the NAV 2003 Floppy search on shutdown no use.

The A7S333 M/Board Driver CD had no Sis Driver for the IDE like when installing say a VIA chipset 4in1 driver. Asus site has none either. Just Gart driver.

Any ideas anyone really bugging me major.

struggle in the perforance side. Surely with an XP2000 (1.667MHz) 256MB DDR its not lacking. All I can think is some conflict or a problem in the BIOS Setting.

Can anyone help, Possibly the Village Idiot or BSOD who seems to be good at these things.
