Slow connection

I have recently moved to a new house, BT openreach enabled my telephone line and my wireless router works brillantly. However I have just had the builders (wimpey) connect the other extentsions in the house. Now when I plug my router into an extentsion socket it is extremely slow. Any Ideas?

Have you got a filter on it?

Yes, even tried a new filter just incase.

Try unpluging any extra phones you have in the house first to see if that makes a difference. If not, and you have the new type phone box on the wall, you can remove the front plate and you will find a socket there called "the master socket". Plug your filter into that and then try your speed again. If there is no change, I would suspect the cabling. Have a look at this site...
