Slow Broadband speed.

My isp is AOL, and my router is a dg834g. When I open up the router page I can clearly see that my downstream speed router side is 4600kbps, and my upstream speed is 445kbps, which indicates my line is 4.5Mb line.

But for some reason when I do a broadband speed test on my pc it always comes back that I have the equivilent of a 512k connection, and that I am downloading at the same speed as I can upload 300kbs.

Surely this isn't right and I should be seeing a fasster throughput than what I am actually receiving pc side.

Do you think it could be a communication problem between router and pc?
