Slide show

  Rogerfredo 11:36 19 May 03

Can anyone suggest a program that will enable me to produce a "slide show" of digital photos and copy this to CDROM for playing on a DVD player?
I have Nero express which will show slides but without timing etc (unless I'm mistaken).
I need something that will be simple to operate as I want to send the CD to my non technical parents.

Irfanview click here is a superb little program, but I don't think you can save in a format suitable for a dvd player. I have often produced slide shows of photos in Powerpoint with an Autorun.inf file. This is very good for non-technical people to use, but of course will only run on a computer.

Try ULead as suggested by mole44. 'ULead DVD PictureShow'. Despite it's name it will write CDR's.

sorry forgot to mention, you will probably need BROADBAND to download as its 43.26mb about 10 mins on BRDBND
but well worth it you can create 99 slides containing 99 photos with your own music and transitions
