Skype & Use of ISP Download Limits

I've just signed up with Skype. Can anyone advise me on the impact that using the Skype video/audio link has on the download limits set by ISPs. Does the use of the video/audio Skype facility eat heavily into the monthly download allowance ISPs allow in some of their packages. My limit is 10Gb/month and I'm wondering how quickly I'll get through my limit.

I use Skype a lot - Skype does not actually involve Downloading anything as far as I am aware - apart from Skype itself.

Skype does use bandwidth. This is from Skype's FAQ's click here I must admit that I haven't measured the actual usage but my ISP has very high usage limits. If you are concerned you could consider installing a bandwidth monitor e.g Netmeter.
