Skype short cut.

This is interesting, if after you have sent a chat message in Skype, you press the up
arrow above the control key and also press the number 8 on your key board, the text you have just sent re appears. It is useful if after sending you realise that you have made an error or omission which you can then correct or edit.
Found by accident don't know if it will work in any other application.

I’m not getting that. It certainly reloads the word, but it doesn’t give me an edit capability, as although I can modify the word, the original one I sent remains displayed. Also, I can get the same effect using the other direction up arrow, but that doesn’t require the number 8.

That's interesting, I must try the other arrow next time I text someone, I'm definitely able to correct omit or add to the message.
Just tried using the other up arrow and I get nothing. Funny PCs!!?

Yes I'm using but wouldn't think that would make a difference.
Had a look at your link, hadn't seen it before,
and though I have the version for video link ( I think) I don't have a web cam therefore haven't used as yet.
