Sky Broadband and Outlook Express

E-mail is not forwarded from Sky Server.Settings/"Forwarding and POP" has been configured "Enable POP for all Downloads", then "Save Changes". This works up to that point i.e.mail is transferred to Outlook Express but for some reason is does not stay that way i.e. on the next occaion I need to go back and reset it and on each occasion to send mail to Outlook Express.

All settings for the Google marriage have been meticulously set and are spot on.

Any suggestions?
