My son has recently signed for a Sky Broadband package and is waiting an insulation date. It comes with a wireless router which he thinks will allow be to share. We live next door and I suppose from his PC to mine is about 32' which includes 2 cavity walls. His he right and if so what will I need?

Thank you

Yes, he's probably correct.

However, that would mean the router security would be non-existent, so the rest of the street might be able to share your connection (and access your files) as well.

you would need a wireless network card in your pc and he could encrypt his connection as long as he tells you the password
