Site not opening.

I have two PC's, both XP and same internet settings, using same wired router. One opens PC Advisor site, the other will not! However, Google Chrome will open it from both PC's. Anyone know why this should occur? Any advice appreciated, thank you.

What browser are you using when not Google Chrome?

Browser on both PC's is IE-7.

Have you considered installing FireFox or Chrome or another browser?

The one that is not opening PCA site maybe try .Command prompt and type in ipconfig /flushdns and press enter on the keyboard it should tell you DNS cache has been flushed and if using XP a reboot would be needed.

buteman, where do I type in .Command prompt? Bit lost here!

Easiest way is just to go to programs>accessories>command prompt and click on it there.

Other way is Programs>Run click on run and type in cmd

got this info from buteman when I had a problem!!

That should have read Programs>accessories>run click on run and type in cmd.

You open an elevated command prompt by typing cmd.exe into the start run box. Right click it and run as admin when it appears.

From the command prompt line type,
ipconfig /flushdns and press enter.
This will flush the DNS cache
Then type,
net stop dnscache and press enter.
followed by,
net start dnscache and press enter.
