Hello all. What does the term, "site" refer to in the world of networking? How does it differ from "subnet" and "segment"? THanks in advance.

It can be the name of a physical location or it can be a name you choose to give to one segment of your overall system.

It would be used when referring to a remote office building which is linked to the main sever by a dedicated link circuit, often provided by BT. It could be in a different city or country.

You can't pitch your tent in a subnet. A subway, perhaps.
