I was delighted to find a 256Mb memory stick for £20 at Lidl. I was not so pleased to find it didn't work with 98SE or earlier! Oh yes - some software is suppled on a MINI disk!

Run the minidisk to load the driver. Then plug the device in.

Great! So how do you run a MINI disk on a CD-Rom? Norming
=======================================

First please do not use the yellow envelope which is for invited personal messages. Use the Add a new response box at the bottom of this page.

Second, open your CD-ROM drive and have a look at the tray that slides out. You will see a "circle" corresponding to the size of a mini-disk. Place the disk in that depression and close the drive. The disk should auto run and install the drivers.

I tried that but it just slipped around!
