hello all,win xp 2.2g,512 ram.over the past month i have noticed a number of threads commenting on the time it takes for xp to fully shut down.each person states differnet lenghts, from the responses i know it depends on the number of applications running in the back ground.the only program still running when i close down is activ surf(showing in windows task manager).ever since i bought this machine it takes roughly 50 seconds from the time shut down is pressed....is this an acceptable time ?.hope to hear from you soon.
cheers mimo

close all my progs down and it takes around the same. Pretty much same machine as well. Wouldn`t worry too much as it doesn`t hurt anything on PC
