shutting down

how do i stop my pc shutting down when not in use for so long. if im downloading something it stops till i press a key to boot it back up. someone says i might be in hibernation mode how do i check this.....thanks

Here's what you have to do. Right click on the desktop and select properties. Next, click on the csreensavers tab and select power. Now click the hibernate tab and make sure there isn't a check mark in the box labeled "Enable Hybernation" then OK this. Thats all there is to it.

go into control panel,double click on power options, click on the power schemes tab and in the pull down list for system standby, choose never. TT
