I am running Windows98SE and, for the last few days have been suffering a computer which, if left for a little while will either reboot or shurdown completely. I have checked the power settings and they are all set to 'Never'

Anyone had this problem and solved it, before I reinstall completely (as a last resort only !)?

Could be a whole host of things. The PC could be getting too hot maybe one of your fans isn't working or the vents have become blocked/obstructed. Could be your power supply or graphics card or ram. If it happens only when the pc is left for a while I would check the fans first.
