Should I avoid logging on as administrator?

Using XP Home I read the warning about genreal use of the computer while logged on as administrator. I find being logged in as a limited user something of a pain.

Is the warning to be taken seriously? I feel reasonably well protected: Zonalarm, Spybot S&D, Spywareblaster, A squared, Norton Antivirus (Will be replaced with AVG when my free update subscription runs out in December)

All the best

With the protection that you have I don't think that there is any substantial risk. I am always logged on with administrator privileges. I think that this 'hazard' is not a real 'risk' provided that you have appropriate protection in place.

Thanks, VoG.

That is what I had hoped.
