Shortcut to change screen settings

  johnem 19:21 11 Nov 07

I am currently using XP Pro Sp2 and a widesreen monitor set at 1600 x 900 resolution. Some of the games that I would like to play will only work on 1280 x 1024 maximum resolution. Is there a way to create a desktop shortcut that can be used to change the viewing settings from the default to "games" mode? Just trying to be lazy and save having to alter the resolution the normal way.

Thanks Brundle. I will give that a go, although I notice that the site a nd software have not been updated since 2000, so will have to see.

Very handy - I've used Res-switch for a machine at work, think I'll change to the one you linked to.
