Need big help here. Adobe Shockwave seems to cause periodic crashes in both Firefox 2 and IE 7 as I am not a techie sort, and even my Father-In-Law who is a computer expert, could anyone tell me what is going on and, more importantly how the heck do I sort it out.

uninstall Shockwave reference from Add/remove programmes and also in intenret options where it says View Objects go in there and also delete any ref to shock wave.

Restart pc, go online and go to a site e;g Asus support or something which will hopefully prompt you for Adobe shockwave. or manually go to adobe uk site to download the tool.
