Hi im having problems with shockwave on a laptop. Basically it wont install properly. I go to the site and all I get is the red cross in the corner. If I download it from an external site and install then it says its installed but still wont show up on the adobe site or the site that requires it. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but just wont work! hate shockwave and flash! Anyone had these problems?

Thread in another forum where there was a solution to an install failure. One of the contributors shares your views on Adobe and Shockwave but they did fix the problem for others. Worth a try.
