SHELL : Batch Read Error 80204012

Good Morning Sirs

We have got a machine with 45MB Scsi Harddisk. This machine has Flex Operating System. This machine when put off for few days and put on, we used to have errors as Hard disk could not be recognised.

We used to take out and clean up, again it used to get recognised and booting used to start

Once we had connected this Scsi harddisk in a desktop PC with Windows Xp , by using Acronis True Image 10, we could successfully take image of this harddisk, after this when we connected it back, harddisk ok appears, loading from Hard drive, Loading Flex OS appears then stops with SHELL : Batch Read Error 80204012

Kindly advice for SHELL : Batch Read Error 80204012

Pl also let us know if SHELL : Batch Read Error 80204012 got created only because we had taken image

Now also when we connect this scsi harddisk in a desktop PC, we are still able to see all the folders but wondering why SHELL : Batch Read Error 80204012 is appearing

Kindly advice

Don't know anything about your OS but that error message implies either damaged file or damaged Hard drive. However, the fact that yo are able to read from the hard drive rules out Hard Drive problems so I would suspect that you have a damaged system file. You may need to repair/replace your OS.
