Sheduled Tasks in Windows XP - Disk Cleanup

  Templar1961 14:45 25 Feb 03

I have Norton Anitvirus 2002 scheduled to run every week and this works fine. I tried to schedule disk cleanup to do the same, but it didn't work until I created and used a password. How come Scheduled Task works without a password for NAV, but not Disk Cleanup or Ad-aware?

I tried setting up a password to schedule Disk Cleanup, but after deleting the password the scheduled task stopped running again. I don't want to use a password every time I log on as this wastes more time than is saved by scheduling a task!

Simply typing 'refresh' is singularly unhelpful to anyone trying to offer assistance, after suggestions have been offered.

Did you not consider any of the suggestions above to be of any value?

Have you tried any of the suggestions above?

If so which one(s)?

What happened when you tried them?
