Have they all got network network ports?

then you should just network them. i've got 2 pc's and a laptop networked using the same broadband connection using a Belkin router. This is the one click here .It's very easy to set up. It only took about ten minutes and is faster than wireless.

If you want the cheepest way you just join the to together via a crossover cable between ethernet ports on the 2 computers then run the network wizard on the XP machine and it will ask you if you want to make a floppy say yes then run the floppy on the other one which will configure it to the simple network. you will ony be able to access the net on the 98 machine while the XP machine is switched on.

go the Msgic Hobo way,I use a thompson speedtouch router to link three pc's,very easy set up.I tried the crossover cable way, never got it to work.
