Share calenders across two laptops and two mobiles

In an attempt to solve the "you didnt tell me that date had changed.." discussions with the ball and chain, I was wondering if there was any simple way to share a diary across two laptops that can also synch to both mobiles (Sony).

I've looked online and seen all the software aimed at businesses who dont run an exchange server but most require some sort of server running or are way to expensive just to avoid cluttering up the fridge with post-it notes to keep track of nights out etc..

It doesnt have to be outlook, just something simple - any suggestions?

If you had a Nokia you could synch with Outlook from one machine onto the phone then onto the second machine using their free Nokia software.

Don't know about Sony phones though.

Thanks for that guys - synchronising to the phones isn't the main issue in that Sony have an equivalent of activesynch - I only mentioned it in case someone suggested a third party calender program that is easier to share than Outlook in which case it would need that compatibility as well..
