The Shakes

When I play a DVD using the zoom function [not still picture] on my DVD player, the picture sometimes briefly shakes, although it doesn't always repeat itself at the same shot.

I've been told this can happen on cheap DVD players. As my player is part of a VHS combi, I suppose my player could be regarded as cheap.

I've also been told this can happen because I'm zooming a moving image.

Anyway, does anybody else actually run DVDs using the zoom function and have the same problem - or not.

And BTW, I use the zoom function when running widescreen DVDs as I have a 4:3 TV.

Any helpful comments appreciated.

I have an ALBA 55 which I used the zoom function on as I was watching lord of the rings on a portable and couldn't see a thing I did not experience any shaking of the screen.
