Setup home network on Vista

XP Desktop XP laptop connect to the internet and can see each other. Vista laptop can connect to the internet.
How do I set up the Vista laptop? I used Network Setup Wizard in XP. I can only find Network & Sharing Centre in Vista and none of its options seem to make sense.

You need to go to Microsoft site

download and install on your xp machines and reboot
this will enable your vista pc to recognise your xp ones.

should be simple from then on

go to share file properties, share then file security change permissions and away you go.

Thanks for your input micktrish.
I've had a quick look at what you suggest and at the moment it's not what I'm looking for.
At present I can't see on the Vista laptop where I actually start to enable a connection of it to the other PCs in the household.

You will need to make sure that the XP machines and the Vista machine have the same workgroup name. This may help
