Setting up wireless network on ADSL with Belkin

  shaunc06 18:43 10 Dec 08

I have never done this before on ADSL, only setup with cable which I found no problem, was trying this today for a friend.

I followed what I thought was the instuctions from Belkin.

The adsl socket on the wall, I plugged the belkin adapter in here, and from this I ran the grey phone wire into the belin (dsl part), I then plugged a network cable from the belkin into the back of the computer.
(However I could see the connection on the computer, and it was under the Lan part, all the parts above for BT etc were disabled, but I could not get on the internet with even the main computer.

Any suggestions / run throughs on if what I did was all ok (ie also not use the BT voyager box at all), and then what I would do from having the PC on main PC through a newtworkk cable, to having the laptop connect wireless from the belkin signals sent out.

Any help much appreciated.
