Hi everyone.

I am not the most savvy when it comes to all things technical so would really appreciate some guidance.

I have 3 computers in the house, 2 desktops and a dell inspiron 630m wireless laptop - all 3 run on windows XP home edition. I am going to be moving over to Virgin media for my broadband in the next couple of days and want to set up a network so that all 3 computers can be online at the same time if needed. My cable internet connection will be 4mb.

Which be the easiest way to do this? - I know I need a router - but which one? also what other equipment do I need.

All help gratefully appreciated.

Virgin normally supply a modem or connetion from the settop box, connection via a network cable. I use a Netgear RangeMax Router with firewall on my network. I also use usb wireless adapters in two of the pc's Its not difficult to set up, but it is worth taking the time to learn how to set up and use the wireless security.
