setting up wireless AOL

I wish to help set up AOL broadband on a friends laptop (as the only computer in the house) but wirelessly. He has a wirless network card in the laptop and a wireless Belkin ADSL modem/router and an ntl phoneline.

Do we need anything else apart from these items? Do we need a separate modem from AOL?

I assume it`s NTL Dial up on a BT ADSL line. If so the answer is no - you don`t need anything else. Certainly not from AOL, They`ll charge you for anything including advice and support. The classic is they will insist you`re on their Gold Service to allow wireless connections. Bunkum!

Just remember that you need to enter your username as [email protected] in full in the router.
