Setting Windows default drive

  somerland 10:10 01 Aug 06

Hi, I recently purchased a new PC and following the advice in PC Advisor July edition created a partition on the HDD where I installed Windows XP pro. The problem I have is that when installing software it automattically goes on to the partition (H) where Windows is installed. Some sotware allows you to change the drive wher you want to install but a lot doesnot. Can I change the default from H to C ? Thanks!!

Basically, most software defaults to installing on the system drive, usually in Program Files.

If the program installer doesn't give you an option, then there is nothing you can do.
