I want to set up my own basic website.
I will register both at com & co.uk and also hosting and give it a try for a year or two.
But which company do i go for, looking a cheapish if possible & then once i have it up and running for a while expand it.
Any advice, help or directions on how to do it.

webmania, yes. Also do a forum search; this question comes up very often and you'll get several good suggestions.

Speedhostlimg may be ok but hardly installed with confidence with the two typos "Begginner" and " "Manger" for "Manager" on their site.

Webmania are fine if their one size fits all package suits you - Very basic visitor statistics provided though so you may need to use a free third party like statcounter.
