Setting up Remote Administration

I have two PCs. The older 'spare' one running W98SE and the main one running XP home.

I want to be able to control the old one from the XP machine via a LAN connection. The old PC will not have a monitor, mouse or keyboard connected.

Is this possible and if so, how is it achieved?

I have tried setting up remote administration but get lost on the technicalities of what I'm supposed to be doing.

Are there any step by step explanations anywhere?

Cheers,
Lee

This for old machine>XP
Otherwise you can use RealVNC,
click here (there are other variants) or
BeyondRemote click here (just recently changed from free to a 30 day trial but I have the old free version if you require it).
