I am about to set up a wireless netwok at home for 3 pcs and would like you to confirm if my thoughts are correct after searching through the archives :-

I have telewest broadband fitted and connected to PC1 via ethernet.

PC1 is XP home, PC2 is XP Pro and PC3 is Win 95

I am going to buy a DLink DI 614 router and DLink DWL-510 cards for the 3 pcs.

Q1 Does the present broadband cable connect to the router or do I need to buy another one?

Q2 Have I chosen the correct type of router and cards?

Q3 Will this card work with PC3 using Win 95?

Any ideas on what card will then?

For the other PCs, are the products ok?

Windows 95 is a no go. I think you will find most of the info you require on the Broadband Buyer website
