Setting Up A Home Group/Network in Windows 10

I'm trying to set up a Home Group or network in Windows 10. It's just between 2 PCs. The PCs are connected via ethernet cable to a BT Home router. I've been through all the settings I can find including switching on the ethernet connect slider & ensuring both PCs are on a private not public setting. I've also been through the shared list and have them all switched on. I've ensured the password is shared between both PCs. PC1 can see PC2 and open all the shared folders but PC2 cannot open the folders in PC1. PC1 has the printer connected to it so it's important that PC2 can see it to use it. At one stage PC2 did give a dialogue box indicating it had found the printer with an "Install" button, but it didn't work. Can anyone help please
