Setting up an FTP?

Ok I have a NAS drive connected to my network that can be used as an click here have two router attached to my modem both have had the ports forwarded to the NAS drive, I can access the FTP when logged on to the internal network by using the first routers IP address, But How to I connect to it from out side my own network, from the other side of the modem.

I have a cable connection so the IP address is always the same. any help or advice please...also do I need to instal any software...personally I did not think so as the NAS drive has built in FTP functionality ?
