Setting up a Dual boot

I am running Win 2K pro on an 80 Gig HD, I like 2k and want to keep using it but I have been bought a Zen Mp3 player which needs XP and above to work it. My thoughts are to create a dual boot using a copy of my daughters XP pro just for this purpose. How do I go about it.
regards.

You won't be able to use your daughters copy of XP as it is installed on her n=machine.

Your Hard drive space is far to low to accomodate a dual boot system at present.

So..

A new (larger) hard drve, and a leagal copy of XP will be requied before you start.

XP can be purchased quite cheaply at the moment, and a large hard drive is also quite inexpensive.

This will depend on your system specs. Post back, but in the meam time:

And for Hard drives:

Bear in mind that your current system will need to support the new kit.

You might also find that you can get drivers for the Zen for W2K and that it will work. Most XP drivers are the same ones that W2K would use.

Post make and model of your new Zen.

If you have enough free space on your Drive a 80gb is big enough. But it would mean creating a Partition first

But will leave no room for much else...Better off with a larger HDD methinks.
