Setting an 'Away on Holiday' message

  TommyRed 21:06 29 Sep 05

I've noticed a few of my friends have an e-mail reply which informs you that they are either on holiday or out of the office away on business, is there any way I can set up something similar. I use Mozilla Thunderbird e-mail client and my ISP is PlusNet. TIA TR

I know what you mean, I use it in Outlook on the organisations intranet at work. I had a look at Thunderbird and it doesn't appear you can do that. Anyway, do you think its a good idea from a security point of view to let people know you are away on holiday?

Maybe not such a good idea to say I'm on holiday, but I'll think of some other wording. Mozilla are going to incorporate it into Thunderbird on the next build. Thanks all, TR
