I am selling my computer to a friend who has no idea how to set up broadband etc. I`ve ordered BT Broadband for him and he has chosen his user name and password. The broadband will not be activated until next week but I have the router for him and ethernet cable so he doesn`t need anything. Could I install the router for him at my home with his chosen name and password ready for him to use and if so what would happen re the phone numbers for connection as obviously mine is a different phone number. Any help appreciated

Yes you could use yours to set it up, but when he gets it home the router Password etc would have to be put in to replace yours
