Set up a Bluetooth stack

Can anyone explain how I can set up the bluetooth stack on a Toshiba Portege R100

Not sure exactly what you are trying to do. With Windows XP, Service Pack 2 implements native support for Bluetooth, otherwise the software supplied with the Bluetooth adapter needs to be installed.

Installing third party software in a PC with XP SP2 can actually cause a conflict with the Windows' drivers.

Thanks for your response, I would like to sync my Outlook calendar and contacts to my phone. At the moment I am using a Belkin USB bluetooth stick as my Bluetooth capabilities are not enabled properly.

OK, so are you using XP SP2, in which case Windows should recognise that a Bluetooth adapter has been installed or, if not, have you installed the Belkin drivers?

A Bluetooth applet should appear in Control Panel after it has been installed.
