Services in XP pro are disabled by unkown action.

I have a computer running XP pro sp2 2800 1gb memory on Asus A7n8x deluxe mother board also AVG Zone alarm spybot etc.
My problem is that something or someone is turning off 98% of the services in services.msc Can any one tell me if this is a virus, malware, trojan, or similar? Only enough services to run the computer are left running. Could this be a M/S update problem? Also is there a way of turning them all back on with a couple clicks rather than having to do each service in turn? Thanks

Start>Run>msconfig Go to Startup tab and see what has a tick in it to start up at boot. Do the same on the Services tab. On General tab select Normal Startup. Reboot if you made any changes.
