Service Pack 2

I have taken the plunge at last and loaded SP2. These messages have come up
"Your computer might be at risk - your vurus protection is unkown"
"Local Area Connetion A net work cable is unplugged"
"To help protect your computer Windows Firewall has blocked some features of this program"
I don't understand these messages. I run Norton SystemWorks 2003 and all protection features are on. I don't use network connection. So far as Firewall blocking this comes up at the same time as my choosen Web page.

Is there anything I should be doing about these messages?

You can generally ignore them - the Your Computer Might Be At Risk notices are normally for unsigned drivers.

Same with Norton (I presume it has a firewall); just Disable the Windows Firewall from the Security Center.

the local area connection error could be caused, by an onboard ethernet port being enabled in the bios, but not being used.
