server prblems

Is it fair trading that once you sign up with a sever you are forced to stay with them for a set period (12months) when after signing up you find the service isn't a good one, and the so called help lines charge 10p a minute and at the end you find the problem isn’t solved due to the person at the other end of the line having a poor knowledge of English and even less knowledge of the product they are paid to represent. I have just spent four separate telephone calls trying to get Outlook Express installed and end up with Talk Talk instead. How can I leave this server without losing more money.

It's not all doom and gloom after been cut off again I took the bull by the horns, and told them I was disgusted with the service and said I wanted to cancel the server, (no problem) it seems that they are having loads of customers signing off and don't appear to make you stay on 12 months
